Geralt is invited to the court of Queen Calanthe. He has to dress as a knight, called Ravix of Czteroróg. During the feast he sits next to the queen. Meanwhile, adoption continues. At the banquet, there are many candidates to  the princess of Cintra's hand - Pavetta. During the feast there is the mysterious knight, a hedgehog of Erlenwald.  Announces that Pavetta is for him, under the laws of surprises.
